No email notification of new post

  I published a new post 55 minutes ago and automatic email notifications to followers did not go out. Usually followers receive an email almost immediately. Is there a new setting? This is the first time this has happened on my blog.

  Have you confirmed that none of your email followers received the post?

  Have you checked your email’s spam folder?

  Yes I have confirmed with 10 followers that they did not receive a new post notification. My email spam folder does not have an email from WordPress. I tried to post the entry again by updating it as pending review, then publish it again and that did not work.

  It would have to be a new post to send out anyway.

  I can’t see anything in our system that would have prevented it, so I’m hoping it was a temporary glitch.
