no email notification when customer place orders

  my company is currently using wordpress and woocommerce for the website, but when people place new orders, we are supposed to receive emails from the portal. however we dont receive any.
  when we test email in the system, it says the receiver blocked it. so we reached out to hotmail to see what we can do in SMTP side. but they say its not their problem but wordpress or woocommerce.
  what can we do to receive the emails??

  our email belongs to hotmail
