No Email Received from Contact Form

I added a contact form to my blog but I am not receiving an email when people send a message. I verified that my email address is correct under Users>My Profile. Does anyone know what else I can check to fix this problem? The blog is befithavefun.wordpress.com if that helps.

did you change your email addy since you’ve started the blog? I’m thinking maybe you could have done that, but not ‘verified’ it, and the emails might be going to ‘the other one’ you may have initially had there.
just a thought… ?

I am still using the same email address that I used to set up the blog. I just changed the email address to a different email account and then changed it back and I didn’t receive an email to verify it. Should I have received an email to verify it?

it says on the wordpress screen that it doesn’t become active until you verify it, so I would assume so. I’d check both. Otherwise maybe it’s just taking time.
What was the code you used to set up the form? -
I added a new page and set the page template to “Contact”. Should I remove the template and do a page post instead?

The weird thing is that I added [contact-form] to the html code and kept the page template, which then gave me two contact forms…and they both worked! I then removed [contact-form] from the HTML code and tried again. I then only had one contact form, the original one, and it worked too. Thanks for your help…but I still don’t know what fixed it.
