No email sent of my domain registration yet

    It’s been 4 days since I have registered my domain but I have not received any domain registration confirmation email yet! I have been keep checking of my email, spam folder every now and then. It’s disappointing it’s taking so long time!

    I have resent your domain verification email. If you don’t receive it, please check the Spam folder, and if you have inbox tabs in Gmail active, please check the Updates and Social tabs as well as the email might go there instead of going to the main inbox.

    Let me know if you still don’t receive it.

    I have not received any email from your side ( site ) yet! Yes, I thoroughly checked inbox, spam and Social tab too. But, there is nothing from wordpress!

    I just received an confirmation email on social tab. But, I am being able to post anything. Is it because I am having another wordpress domain herencyclopedia.com from the same email account @(email visible only to moderators and staff)? Though, password and usernames are offcouse different.

  • Do you mean your account activation email? That’s something completely different from the ICANN verification email.

    It looks like we’ve sent you several account activation emails in the past two days, but they have all returned as undeliverable – email doesn’t exist. I have sent you an email to manually verify your account. Please let me know if you don’t know that either.

    Yes, I meant the account activation email. I have received only one account activation email today at 16:12 (IST).

    I have clicked to that and directed me to my profile, keyafab.com. However, I am not being able to post anything and it says resend email activation.

    When I confirm “email confirm tab” it says the below –

    “User keyafab Cannot Access the Dashboard Requested

  • Hi @keyafab, if you’re trying to validate for herencyclopedia, can you log out then log in again as that user? Then the activation links will work.

    I am not trying to validate for herencyclopedia, since the domain herencyclopedia.com is working since the month of July (2015). I have logged in as keyafab only.

  • @keyafab, the message you gave us mentioned the other username. It sounds like that isn’t the issue.

    Please go to

    https://wordpress.com/me/account

    and verify your email address there. Our emails to you are still bouncing back.

    My username for ‘herencyclopedia.com’ is “keyadutta”
    My username for ‘keyafab.com’ is “keyafab”

    And email Id is the same : (email visible only to moderators and staff)

  • @keyafab, ah… your address for this account had an extra letter in it, which explains why your mail wasn’t going through.

    And while you can’t use the same email address for two different user names, your mail provider does make it easy to use aliases (a similar address that will send mail to the original address). We’ve made that correction here and are just working on manually activating your account now.

    I tried to change my email address for keyafab.com but couldn’t able make any changes due to error.

  • @keyafab — right. The error is that the email address you’re trying to change it to already exists in the system. I’ve already fixed this for you by using an alias of your address.

    At this point, we just need an admin to verify the changes at this point since we had to update your address for you. With it being Christmas Eve, this might take a bit longer than usual, but if you’ll hold tight we’ll take care of that for you.

    For keyafab.com I would like to use the same email as (email visible only to moderators and staff)!
