I need to renew just my domain. It expires tomorrow! So does my paid Plan. I can only renew my plan as domain was free with it. I don’t want to. The chatbot said the options should be separate, a human should deal with this and thanks for flagging the issue. “This is important to us as we don’t want you to lose your domain”.
So, Chatbot started a new conversation but after an hour no one had replied. Nothing, not even a ‘we are busy someone will….etc.’ I opened another chat, same thing.
Its strange as my screenshot showing no option to renew my domain keeps being deleted and some my questions are greyed out. Like someone is viewing the chat, but not answering at all!
Now the chatbot just keeps asking me if I want to open my previous conversations and I’m stuck in a loop as it won’t answer anything new now! I don’t know what else to do. I Don’t want to lose my domain name. Please help me.

Update: my first two chats from over an hour ago, are now deleted from chat history! Still no replies though. What is going on??? I am certainly not happy

Hi there, Are you trying to renew your above domain?
https://wordpress.com/site-profiler/http://carolinedanby.co.uk
While it looks like your site is hosted here on WordPress.com, your domain is registered with GoDaddy, not WordPress.com. You’ll need to log in at GoDaddy and renew it directly there.
-
omg. Yes you are correct. So, if I cancel at Godaddy can I register it with WordPress then? Buy it separately?
-
I would not cancel your domain as that means you are giving it up for possible resale. Because you are so close to your expiration date, and you want to continue using your custom domain, renew your domain at GoDaddy asap
Since it isn’t clear whether you’ll be able to transfer your .co.uk domain to WordPress.com after 60 days have passed, I’ve also tagged your thread for staff input.

Thank you. I’m not clear on your final paragraph, but I’ll check domain at Godaddy.
I don’t think it’s expiring or they would have notified me. So I’m confused as to whether I can add the to my free WordPress site once my plan has expired. As originally it was added to the paid site for free. Now there is no separate option on my account relating to the domain.

Hello again, apologies then as I misunderstood your intention.
To connect your GoDaddy domain to your WordPress.com website does require a paid upgrade. Here’s more on domain connection

To add to what @justjennifer said earlier .co.uk domains can’t be transferred here. You’ll need to renew the domain at GoDaddy. If you want to use that domain with a site here at WordPress.com you can link the GoDaddy domain and to work that requires a paid plan.
