No Export Link

  I’ve been asked to transfer a blog from wordpress.com to a self-hosted installation using wordpress.org. I’ve logged into the user’s account, gone to the Dashboard and clicked on “Tools.” I’m told there should be an “export” link listed here, but there is not. All I see is a link titled Tools (under the main Tools heading) and there are no “export” functions here. Has the export function moved somewhere else? I can’t seem to find it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much.

  It seems like there might be some Dashboard tweaking going on.

  If it still isn’t listed under the Dashboard>Tools menu (don’t forget to click so that it opens; you should see “Tools; Import; Export; Delete Blog” under “Tools”), then have the person whose blog you are trying to export contact Support directly.

  Thanks for your reply. There is definitely no “Export” or “Import” link under the “Tools” menu. When you click to open it up, the only tool listed is “Tools.” We’ll contact support. Thanks again.
