No Featured content option in customize meniu (Canard)

  Hi,
  I’ve just set up new blog site with Canard theme.
  I would like to use Featured content option, but I can’t see this option in theme customize menu.
  May be I’m missing something?

  Hi @kevinbazira, thanks for reply. Yes, I followed this guide. Problem is, that it says, go to customize>Featured content …
  But then I go to customize, I can’t find any “Featured content” option. No this menu.
  And in the guide there are nothing said about how this menu option must appear, just: “If you see a Featured Content panel, your theme supports it”. And I using Canard theme, which supports it. But I don’t see this option.

  I’ve tried to simulate this in my test environment and here are my findings.

  After installing the Canard theme, I got a notice that said “The Jetpack plugin is required…” as seen here:

  Then I checked the Customizer and indeed there was no option to set Featured Content.

  So I installed and activated Jetpack and now I’m able to see the Featured Content option in the Customizer.
