  Ciao
  Have installed a WP instance at a new server and moved my old posts from wordpress.com to it.
  Unfortunaltely, the user registration and login button <> is not visible or available. I am happy with the original user management and want to have it at the new instance too.

  What plugin do I need to install, is it in jetpack?
  And how do I activate it, to be seen at the bottom of my start page?

  You are correct; you need to install Jetpack and connect your account.

  However, you are at the wrong Forum; this is for WordPress.com users.

  Thanks. But, Jetpack is installed and I am connected to. Do I need to install something else?

  Yes, you need to do a few things which involves a little bit of coding.
