No follower updates

  I receive multiple emails a day (usually at least 3), stating that someone new is following my blog. They’ve all given the email address. However, when I check my follower list, there are no new followers and haven’t been for quite a long time now. I’m quite confused by this. Do I need to update something? I apologize if something similar has been asked already.

  No need to apologize :-)
  Your followers could be spam followers. The Staff are cleaning them up.
