When I try to add a new site and type in any domain, it only gives me premium options.

If you want a custom domain name added to your WordPress.com site, you would need to upgrade to a paid plan. You can see all WordPress.com plans here – https://wordpress.com/plans
If you don’t want to upgrade to the premium plan you can upgrade to the personal plan or the business plan first from https://wordpress.com/plans and then add the custom domain name from https://wordpress.com/domains page.
If you want to use the free WordPress.com subdomain you can continue to do so.

I don’t have any sites added to my account, I’m trying to create one. I want to use the free subdomain, but I don’t see that option when I choose a domain. I tried multiple keywords and they only show me the premium .com and other domains

Hi there,
It looks like you have a suspended site in your account, which might be the reason for this.
