no free option when creating a blog

  Hello
  There doesn’t seem to be any free option when creating a new blog.
  Is it not free anymore?

  Hi,

  The free plan will exist as long as WordPress exists :)

  Make sure that you are logged in and then visit – https://wordpress.com/start/ – to start creating your new site!

  If the free plan exists then why do all the domain options have price tags beside them. when I enter my chosen domain name there is no free option. Where am I going wrong?

  I initialized the process myself, and on step 4 (“Let’s find a domain”) I typed in a keyword “exampledomain” and it says this:

  exampledomain587.wordpress.com Free
  exampledomain.me $25.00 /year
  exampledomain.co $25.00 /year

  …and so on

  So the first result in the search is always the free option. Is the first option not available for you?

  If you type in exampledomain.com that is a custom domain and you will only see the option for paid plans as a domain can’t be purchased without a plan.

  If you want a free plan, type in only exampledomain and select the free option, as @akhrayaprolu also explained.
