No free version?
-
I created a blog, but I messed it up, something happened that the posts were not visible even when they were published, so I thought the easiest way was to delete that site and create a new one to start again. But now I don’t see any domain option for free… Do I not have a free option anymore??

Hi there!
It seems that my colleague has already helped you via email, are you all set?
Let me know if you need more help. -
Yes, she was really helpful and fast. Really appreciate it :). I created this second blog and there is no choice for a free domain when I select “launch this site”, so I don’t know if it’s because of the specific name that I chose or for another reason. But that’s something secondary now, since the main problem has been fixed.

Perhaps with your first site it may have been simply that the blog posts page needed setting as the front page. Is the second blog also a free site ending in .blog or .wordpress.com? If so make sure that after clicking the “Launch site” button that you leave blank the field at the top that says “Enter a name or keyword”. Instead just click on “skip purchase” at the bottom right next to your new free address and continue with free on the next page.

Thank you! I’ve tried that and still didn’t work. I will try again, maybe I’m doing something wrong.

It probably is the specific name you chose, if it doesn’t end in .wordpress.com or .home.blog or .art.blog, etc.
You can try going back a step if you’d selected a custom domain. Or, if the site’s already started and you like the address as it is, you’d be welcome to simply set the site to public here:
