No Guided Tranfer for wordpress.com premium theme blogs. What should I do?
-
I want to transfer my site to wordpress.org or somewhere that I can get advertisers. However, I saw that I cannot do a guided transfer since I have a premium theme. What are my options? I am not good with programming, so I am feeling lost :(
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

No matter where you move your content to the premium theme cannot be exported. It can only be used here on the free hosted WordPress.com you purchased it for.

http://en.support.wordpress.com/guided-transfer/There is only one advertising program at WordPress.com called WordAds. It’s for blogs on their own domains http://en.wordpress.com/apply-for-wordads/

Thanks! I applied for WordAds a few weeks ago, but I haven’t heard back. However, I have seen ads show up on my site numerous times. I was not sure if it was a result of applying for WordAds, or the standard ads that WordPress.com puts on sites so they can make some revenue. Do you do WordAds?

Yes, there will ads appearing on your blog. WordPress.com has been running advertising on our free hosted blogs since 2006. Many bloggers do not know this because despite the fact they ticked the box required to get a free blog, they did not read the ToS. Many also do not read features page, or advertising entry in the support documents after registering their username and blog(s). Also note that as the ads do not display to us when we are logged in, and as many use browsers with ad blockers when logged out, they may not realize they are there at all. The only way to get rid of all advertising on our free hosted WordPress.com blogs is to purchase an annually renewable No-Ads upgrade.
Do you do WordAds?
No. I have a No-Ads upgrade.
