No help for Premium theme support… Need help with Headlines Theme- Slider!

I posted this under Premium Theme Support – Headlines theme, waited 2 days and …. nada, no help! What’s happened with that forum? In the past I always got a reply within 2- 8 hours–12 at the most.

Anyway, can someone help me with the Sliders on the Premium theme? It’s been a loooong time (2 years) since I used Headlines. It’s my writing portfolio and thankfully I haven’t need to update it as up until recently I have been working as a writer.

So I jumped back in and was updating it, but forgot how to add a post to the sliders. I think my version of Woo’s Headlines must need updating (?) as the instructions on a forum from 2/13 on how to add a post to the slider doesn’t have the correct info.

The theme author says: Navigate to your “Appearance > Theme Options” in your WordPress back end and select the “Featured Slider” tab. Then tick the “Show the featured panel on the front page”.

Problem is, there is no “Featured Slider” option under Theme Options. This is all there is under Theme Options to choose from:

    General Settings:

    •

Featured Panel
    •

Navigation
    •

Layout Options
    •

Featured Images

Did he mean Featured Images? (As the author of the theme you think he wouldn’t make that mistake.) What do I do?

I already keyed in “Featured” on the blog I wanted “to slide” but how do I get it to actually go on the slider?

The blog I need help with is jennikeast.wordpress.com.

Also…is there a limit on how many images I can have on the slider? I think I have five now. So maybe I can’t add a 6th one? I thought I remembered there being a limit even though in the Featured Entries section it shows up to 10. Why show 10 if you can only use 5? Hmmm.

    Thanks!
