No hits on search engines

  I have tried searching my blog on various search engines and I have checked that the privacy settings are correct but I can never find my blog on any of them. I s there something I am missing?

  You’ve only been at it since February, but your blog is listed on the search engines. Put the following into the google search box

  site:http://thinkandbemerry.wordpress.com/

  It takes some time to build up enough search engine ranking to get to where you appear higher up in searches. I think it was six months before I got my first hit.

  Keep posting, and for the first six months or so, try and post something at least once a week. Search engines like to see new comment regularly and it keeps their attention.

  First of all it may take up to 6 weeks before new blogs start showing up in search results.
