No Image Widget?

I would like to add an image of my book cover to my Blog site, in the right hand sidebar. Clicking the image needs to open, in a new page, another site. I’ve used all 3 available themes – Twenty Fourteen, Twenty Fifteen, and Twenty Sixteen, and the sidebar widget just does not have an ‘image’ option. I believe the video said this was how this is supposed to be done. Can you please enlighten me?

Hi, you can add an image with the Image Widget but you have to make sure to upload the image to your WordPress media library first. Here is info about how to use the Image Widget: https://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/image-widget/

The problem is that there is no “Image” widget in my choices. I have an abundance of other choices, just not “Image”

FINALLY found a post via Google that said I needed to download the Image Widget. It seems to me that this widget should have been included in all versions of WordPress, but what do I know?
