No images are showing on site!!

I seem to be having the same problem as podcastjunky: I see the images when I manage my uploads, however the posting only shows filenames of the images… click on ’em.. and nothing… I’m at http://jblibrarian.wordpress.com/. Today’s post worked, but not the two below it.

And now they’re gone, http://jblibrarian.wordpress.com/. Any idea why these images keep disappearing then showing up again?

Using firefox 2.0.0.7 I can see an customized image header and large images in all your posts on your front page. The reason your front page takes so long to load is because you have these large images in every post and you have several posts on your front page. IMO you might consider reducing the number of posts appearing on your front page. This can be done here -> Options -> scroll down to
Blog Pages
Show at most: ______posts
change the number of posts and click “Update Options” -
Thank you, but I don’t think that’s it… I’ve had this blog going the entire summer, all photos like it is right now and there’s never been a problem up until now. Strange thing is that since yesterday, sometimes the photos are there, other times they are not. And they are always the same ones that disappear and then reappear (ringo01.jpg, ringo02.jpg, ringo03.jpg, forsale.jpg). The photos don’t take a long time to load (at least not on the computers I access them with).

jblibrarian – the rumor is, that there is a major error on a router system some where in the world. Some big server network are having problems. There is noting wrong with your blog. But your internet connection have been guided via this faulty net work and that’s why you can’t see some of the images.
Most of your readers see your blog perfectly fine. A lot of bloggers think their images show fine to all readers because they can see pictures clearly themselves. That is unfortunately wrong. We all have a few readers that see some red crosses instead of pictures.
There is no official confirmation of this assumption but this is how the problem was explained to me.
WordPress cant do anything.
