  • Hi,

Are you asking about the Instagram Widget?

If so, the number of images and the number of columns are configurable. In the widget settings:
    – Images: This controls the number of images that will be displayed at once in your sidebar. It will showcase the most recently published images on your Instagram account.
    – Layout: The number of columns to display your images. The higher the number of columns, the smaller the images will be displayed.

Also, make sure you have Authorized Instagram Access to make sure the setup is completed. Otherwise the widget won’t function properly.
You can read more about how to do that here:
    https://en.support.wordpress.com/instagram/instagram-widget/

    Hope this helps :)

    Hello,
No,I have put my wordpress blog address on my Instagram as my website. I used Instagram to bring traffic into my blog. When I open my blog from Instagram BIO page or my followers do, ONLY text is visible not the photos. I love to showcase my photography in my blog so this is very disappointing, I have changed so many themes thinking it may be the themes problem. I also removed all the widgets, even instagram.

When I view this post https://unscriptedrecords.wordpress.com/2018/07/24/1717/ the many images are “404” file not found.

As your 1st post was https://unscriptedrecords.wordpress.com/2012/01/ I think you may have exhausted your free media space allocation. Please check http://unscriptedrecords.wordpress.com/wp-admin/upload.php to see whether or not you have exceeded the free space requirement.

If you upload lots of images you can exhaust that free space allocation quickly. Currently, the only way to get an extra space allocation after you upload the images again is to purchase an upgraded plan.

    Important note:
Images and media you upload into your media library and embed into posts and pages are on wordpress.COM servers. They remain visible unless or until you delete them from your media library. Deleting them from your media library also removes them from every place ie. every post and page you embedded them in and leaves behind broken links.

Staff cannot restore images you delete from your Media Library. You have to upload them all again, and then fix every broken image link in every post/page it was embedded into previously.

  • Hi there,

I don’t think this has anything to do with Instagram.

If I look at your most recent post, the first broken image in that post has https://gettingoutofmywritersblock.files.wordpress.com/2018/07/img_5864.jpg as the source link for that image.

Looking at time stamps, it appears you first created the post on https://gettingoutofmywritersblock.wordpress.com/, and then copied it over to http://unscriptedrecords.wordpress.com/, but without re-uploading the images to the unscriptedrecords site’s media library.

Then you deleted the site, https://gettingoutofmywritersblock.wordpress.com/, two days ago. This caused all images on the unscriptedrecords site that are being loaded from the media library of the gettingout… site to disappear, as those images are no longer publicly accessible on our servers, and will soon be deleted entirely.

The only way to fix those images is to edit each post with broken images and re-upload the images to the current site, or for us to restore the deleted site to your account, which we can still do at this point. Please let me know if you want me to do that.
