No images showing up on one of my blogs

    Hi, I have just spent the past few hours looking for solutions for one of my blogs in which all the media links are broken. If I upload anything new, it also appears as a grey image in the library and nothing shows up.
    The other works without problem.
    Most forums suggest that plugins may be the problem. Since I am a free user, I have not installed any plugins and can find no way to remove those that appear to have automatically been installed.

    Hi there,

    This does sound like an odd issue! If you don’t see any plugins to disable under could you try uploading an image in a private / incognito window or another browser you haven’t viewed the site in before? Hopefully, it’s a browser caching issue. https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/

    I have downloaded the theme you are using and I’m not getting any errors uploading an image.

    Give that a go and let me know if it doesn’t work. Good luck!

    Thank you so much for your swift response.
    It is not a browser caching issue. Since it is at work, we are required to clear our caches daily.
    This problem has been going on for this blog for quite a while now and I have only just looked into it and see how far it extends.

    I did test on another computer to see if the images appear and they do. Apparently they are only a problem for the one blog on my end and appear for my end users so yay! It just makes any form of editing or formatting very difficult for me.

    The random images provided in the Custom header section of the dashboard work fine, but anything I upload don’t work and it is impossible to select and crop anything I want to add.

    I may need to have our tech team look at this if there is nothing on the WordPress end. It still doesn’t explain why only one out of five are effected.

    I can see the images fine on my end, at least visitors to the site can the images, but doesn’t help you out much!

    Can you try uploading an image again and see if any errors appear in the console? Heres a link on how to do this: https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/advanced-browser-troubleshooting/#javascript-errors

    Might be able to shed some light on the issue. Let me know how it goes.
