"No incoming links have been found"

My stats page has been saying for 3 weeks:
“No incoming links have been found.”
There used to be a lot. This doesn’t make sense. Any ideas why?

PS What is the difference between “Incoming links” and “Referrers”? There are two different lists for these.

(1) There are numerous threads on the fact that “incoming links” is not working. The data is not coming in from Google blog search. I leave it to you to find thwm.
(2) The differences between the two are found in the support documentation for “stats”.

Also note that you can go to your Google webmasters account and see all external links to your site there.

By the way, not for now obviously, but for the next time, try either the Support docs search box or the the forum search box, which is much-improved. Both pulled up all the recent conversations on the topic.
