"no input file specified" error
-
I’ve followed all the steps for the “5 minute installation” and have gotten a screen telling me WordPress is successfully installed, (though that is preceded by a page chock full of gobbledygook code which seems to be trying to tell me there is some sort of problem somewhere??) but when I log in on the next screen that appears, I get a “no input file specified” error. What does it need now?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Your site is not hosted on WordPress.COM and you are posting to the wrong support forum. This forum is for support of sites hosted on WordPress.COM. Your support questions must be posted to the correct support site for your software and that is here http://wordpress.ORG/support/

Hmm, may have it solved. Have to say Word press is ***EXREMELY*** confusing and difficult to navigate, nearly impossible to install, and I do not agree whatsoever with all the “claims of “easy to use and install”, etc. NOT EASY.

Hi again,
This is the support forum for free hosted WordPress.com bloggers. We do not have FTP access to our blogs and do not and in fact cannot install anything into our blogs. All our upgrades are done by Staff. We cannot help you here with your self hosted WordPress.ORG install as our software is different. You have to get help here > http://wordpress.ORG/support/
