No install button

  I’ve just bought “Gigawatt” theme from Obox, went to appearance/themes to install it, but there is no “install themes” button. I have only the “manage themes” button, and cannot figure out how to import or install the new theme.

  I’m sorry, but themes can’t be uploaded to WordPress.com. That’s a feature of self-hosted blogs through WordPress.org.

  You may use any of the available themes we have under Appearance > Themes in your dashboard, and you may want to look into purchasing the Custom Design Upgrade to customize one of the themes we offer:

  Otherwise, you’ll need to install WordPress from http://wordpress.org/ on a hosting provider. We have some recommendations at http://get.wp.com/hosting/

  Then, point your domain to your new hosting provider by changing your nameservers: http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/domain-management/#update-nameservers

  After the transfer to another host, does the domain still related to WordPress.com or will I pay the domain’s year fee to the new host?

  You’ll still pay us for the yearly renewal, unless you choose to also transfer the domain to a different registrar.
