No Install Theme Option

  I purchased a theme from Themetrust.com and when I log into WordPress and click on Appearance, I only see Manage Themes and not Install Themes.

  How can I see the Install Theme tag?

  You can only choose from available themes in wordpress.com. Read this > http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  Please help!! I bought the “Theme Soundcheck” I download it by the link they send me, it’s download on my computer, not on my wordpress domain website. How do i upload it to my home page at http://www.caribbeanamericanchristiannyc.com?

  @caribbeanlite please read com-vs-org. There is no ftp connection for wordpress.com sites. You can use it on a self-hosted wordpress.org site.

  You can use any theme here > Apperance > Themes on a free hosted wordpress.com blog. To purchase a Soundcheck for your free hosted wordpress.com blog see here >

  There is not FTP access and you cannot uplaod any third party theme into a free hosted WordPress.com blog.

  The only themes we can use are those found here > Appearance > Themes
  This is a multiuser blogging platform. All blogs wearing the same theme are using the same underlying template and we cannot access the underlying files and edit templates or themes. http://en.support.wordpress.com/themes/editing-themes/

  There is no upgrade that you can purchase from WordPress.com that provides FTP access and the ability to upload any third party themes. To use the theme you purchased you would have to hire a web host and set up a wordpress.org install.

  In your dashboard, go to appearance > themes and search for “soundcheck” and you will see that that theme is available here. You can purchase it and activate it on your wordpress.COM site.
