No invitation received to share authorship

  Hi,
  My friend wants me to share authorship on his blog with me. He follows the procedures as outlined (so please do not refre to them) but I never received any of the 4 invitations he’s sent over the past 2 days. Something doesn’t get through.

  So you’ve checked your spam filter and there’s nothing there, I guess. Or is he sending the invitation to your WordPress.com user name, lautrerable? Could you ask him to try to send the invitation to a secondary email address instead?

  If you’re using Gmail, also check the Social tab of the inbox. WordPress.com emails usually wind up there.

  If the OP follows this advice, the system will require him/her to register a new WordPress.com username account with that email address, so they’ll end up with two separate accounts.
