No layout for pasted drawings
-
Hello,
The copy/paste function of a drawing from word in a page doesn’t seem to work anymore. The datas are paste as if they were plain text with no lay out.

Did it ever work?
It shouldn’t actually be possible to copy a drawing/photo directly from Word.
Instead you need to save the images and upload them directly to your blog. -
Maye i used the wrong word for “tableau” in french…
I have informations in tabular form that i already imported. Now i want to update them and there are more lines so i must replace the old one. And it didn’t work. -
Howdy,
You might try constructing the tables with HTML instead.

That could be a solution, tanks..
Still, there is a technical problem because copy/paste for tables used to work a few days ago. So i’d like support to check this please. -

I’m not noticing the problem myself. Are you copying and pasting from the Visual editor tab or the HTML editor tab?
-
I’m on this page : http://wp.me/P1UeRy-fD
I’m on the visual page, then clic on the icon “paste from word” and i copy my tab there. It used to work this way when i add the actual tab. I lately tried with two different tabs, it still doesn’t work : no frame to separate the “datas”. -
Pasting from Word is problematic, and not something that we directly support.
Word and other word processors include proprietary formatting data that cannot be interpreted, even when using the Paste From Word button.
Instead, try an HTML table: http://www.w3schools.com/html/html_tables.asp

Yes, I once read your word support page.
I don”t understand this working then not working thing !
Well, i’m afraid i’m going to learn how to use html…
Thanks for your help.
