No Likes appearing

I second loridr’s comment – my likes seem to be working, as far as I can tell, but now getting an e-mail every time I reply to a comment. Hoping we can get a response to this a bit quicker than we did to the likes issue…

Are you not ALSO receiving instead of the normal email format about someone’s liking your post, one formatted as if for a new follower?

Indeed they seem to be functioning. But the strange case of the change of appearance of emails re Comments still remains.

The likes appear to be functioning. Yay! I turned off email notifications, so I don’t know about those. Sorry.

Yes, there is a change in the email notification appearance. Also, I’m still getting emails notifications of all of my responses to the comments.

Is this a new feature? If so, is there a way to turn it off in my settings? I don’t need my own comments popping up in my email box.

I thought it had been resolved on my blog (http://ClickyChickCreates.com) as the “like then unlike” suggestion had cleared it up, but a friend in Australia just notified me the like button on my blog is not showing up, only the share button. Yet, when I look at my site, the like button is there. It’s getting weirder : ( Usually my phone chirps lots throughout the day with like and follow notifications and it has been very quiet today. Really hope this is completely resolved soon enough. Hard enough to grow a brand without these technical issues.

Also, I’ve noticed on other blogs that the like button is definitely there, but no gravatars show up. It’ll show # people liked, but just white space. But then if I hit like, the gravatars will then show up. Help!!

Um…now the likes are working but suddenly my page is either loading very slowly or I am getting an error message and no page at all is showing up! Anyone else experiencing this? Yikes!

No likes at all on my blog (dysphoricrapture.wordpress.com) – the like button has disappeared altogether. Visitors have confirmed there is no option to like posts anymore. Have checked settings and nothing changed in there, “show likes” is checked for every post.

For me, yes to Likes and no to Comments. I feel sure they’ll turn up, but they are VERY, VERY slow; and this wasn’t happening yesterday.
