No line spaces

  I’ve got 32 posts on my blog. The last two entries will not allow me to separate graphics or paragraphs when I hit enter anymore. I used to get a clean break between paragraphs; now they all run together whether it’s a picture, bolded subject headings, or paragraph text. I need to have clean looking posts with paragraphs breaks like before. How can I get back to what was apparently the default setting?

  This has just started happening to me as I type my current post too. If it’s relevant, I’m using the Ocean Mist theme.

  It is not theme dependent. It is a problem with the TinyMCE editor used by wordpress, or their implementation of it. Try inserting <br /> (with the space between r and /) in code view where you want the blank lines.

  My suggestion is to limit your frustration with the wordpress editor by using a offline blog editor. It gives you the added benefit of keeping a copy of all your posts right on your hard drive. There is a good review of them here: http://onecoolsite.wordpress.com/2007/10/26/offline-blog-editors-reviews/ . Many of them are free and even those you have to pay for a reasonably priced.
