No links working

I have posted a couple of errors here a few days ago. I want to correct them, or at least try.
I started my previous thread, thinking I had 4 accounts. I don’t have a blog, and I have only one account that allows me to sign in. WordPress.com is the third party vehicle to many websites that I frequent. An additional past account won’t allow the username or password to let me sign in. I am absolutely positive of those two pieces of information. I have them both saved, and the Blogs I Follow stream has the website where this account was used exclusively.
The sign in doesn’t work, but I’m sure the associated email address is still buried in the wordpress dot com database, and I would like it to be purged, if possible.
If any Happiness Engineer should read this post, could you or someone else access the database to remove this email address?

As usual, I will eat more crow. I mislead with my thread title, in relation to the post itself.
The link not working is Delete Account. Account Recovery Form, and Account Recovery do not apply in the first case. In the latter, the wordpress sign in screen does not recognize the username.
