No Location Option in Screen Options

I’m using the Twenty Twelve theme and searched each option to enable geotagging – there is no such option – I can add location to a post via the button in the editor but see nothing in the post. Also the Worpress support suggests enabling the “Location” option in Screen options for a new post, I have no such item in my screen options – on any screen.
Can anybody Help?

Thanks for the two replies to this WP newbie …
The link from timethief was one that I already read and as druesome noticed the geotag – so did I! It didn’t appear immediately, which was why I didn’t see it. One reason is that is does not show on the Home tab with the latest post, but if I pick the same post from Recent Posts on the sidebar – the geotag appears! i don’t know if this is the case for others viewing the blog?
My missing “Location” option in the drop-down Screen Options must have been eliminated by the last WP update perhaps? And Geotagging is not on the User Options either – perhaps WP decided they were redundant.
Nevertheless, my problem is mostly solved for posts and I can only assume that WP does not allow geotagging Pages? -
