No longer able to "Visit site" in Preview

Usually when editing a draft blog post or page, after selecting “Preview” there is a “Visit Site” option which shows how the page will look when published. Now, when I select the “Visit Site” button, I get a 404-Page not found error, with “OOPS! Page you’re looking for doesn’t exist. Please use search for help”. All of my previously published posts/pages seem okay. Is this a WordPress “upgrade,” or does it indicate a problem with my site? I rely on this feature when editing my posts/pages.

I just tried to replicate the problem by viewing the draft named “Found in Transition” and I didn’t get the same error – I got the preview of the post in question just fine.
One of the reasons you’d see that error is if you’re not logged into WordPress.com because if you’re not logged in, you wouldn’t be able to see a preview of a draft post and you would get a “page not found” error. So while you’re logged into the WordPress.com editor, you might have a browser or security setting that blocks third party cookies to make it seem like you’re not logged into your site.
To rule this out, could you log out of your WordPress.com account under https://wordpress.com/me , clear your browser cookies, and log back in again and see if that shakes that error out.
If you still have the same error, try a different browser than the one you normally use to rule out a browser issue.

Clearing cookies in my primary browser (Firefox) didn’t work, but I switched to MS Edge, and the “Visit site” feature does work there. Not sure what happened, but it is available in some form. Thank you!

Glad to hear you were able to see it. It sounds like you may still have a config issue in Firefox, so I would like you to try the following and see if it helps you to view content correctly in that browser as well:
- make sure that you have enabled third-party cookies for wordpress.com by following the steps here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/disable-third-party-cookies
- Temporarily turn off all browser extensions you may have added in Firefox
If you try those, are you able to proceed in Firefox?

Sorry for the delay in responding. In Firefox, I turned off tracking protection for my site, then the “Visit Site” feature worked. I’m not sure if that turns off protection just for my site, or all of WordPress? Either way, that did the trick. Thank you!
