no longer access wordpress site
-
Hi,
I am writing on behalf of my friend as she is unable to access her account (user: michelapsi) and website (www.michelacavalleri.com).
I helped her set up the website in January 2015. She bought the domain through WP with her Italian debit card (not with paypal) and the number she has on her bank statement is not valid in the account recovery form as transaction ID.When I set up the blog for her I gave her username and password and showed her how to set up a few things. She played with the website once (adding a picture and a few things), then never accessed it until this summer. I’ve been trying ever since to figure out what has gone wrong and all I can think of is that I mistyped her email address when signing up and that whoever got the email must have clicked on the activation link. My friend doesn’t remember receiving an activation link and has no email with it.
I understand you cannot recover the account without proof of ownership. However, I would be very grateful if you could help me out figuring out what happened (is she using the wrong login account?) or what options she has.
Thank you,
MartaThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

It’s true that we can’t restore access without proof of ownership. But it’s possible we can establish that. Please have her email us directly, with a description of the situation and any supporting information she has, to help@wordpress.com
