No longer receive email updates from a blog I subscribe to

I subscribe to a blog called ‘The Ugly Truth’. I usually receive email updates on a daily basis, but last week I stopped receiving email updates. The owner of the blog says that WordPress sometimes drops subscribers for no apparent reason.
I tried to re-subscribe but that has not worked.
I would like to the email updates to resume. What do I have to do to get it done?

Is the blog you’ve subscribed to earlier now set as private?
According to Subscriptions and Newsletters support document,
If the Site Visibility option is set to private, then the subscribers will not receive any email notifications of the posts.

The Ugly Truth blog does not appear to be set to private. You can easily find it using any browser.
The owner of The Ugly Truth blog suggested that I should re-subscribe. I tried that several times. A window appears saying that I will be getting a confirmation email, but I have never received one when trying to re-subscribe.

@afoolinparadise, I’ve confirmed the latest post notification was sent out by email 4 hours ago and that your mail server accepted it. If you still don’t see it, can you check with your mail provider to see why they aren’t delivering it?
