no longer receiving email posts

    Hi
    made my blog private briefly last week then went back to making it visible to all. However I now don’t appear to be receiving my email posts from Evernote which is my primary method of posting.

    Have tried resetting the email address but this hasn’t made a difference. even with the new address my email posts are still not being received. when I cc the post to my personal gmail address it reaches it, so presumably no problem from the sending end at evernote.

    Am I missing turning something back on at word press for me to start receiving email posts again?

    Any help would be much appreciated

    following up i am able to receive posts via email if i send them from my gmail account. so at moment as a workaround I’m cc’ing my emails from evernote to gmail as well which I’m receiving OK then forwarding them by email onto WordPress in order to receive the post.

    The problem appears then to relate solely to the email posting from Evernote to WordPress not working.

    wondering now if theres some sort of block between the two?

    Still no follow up from any staff re this issue after 4 days, still staying patient…..just.

    In the meantime have been also trying to resolve this from the evernote end. their support team have come back back to me a couple of times now and have asked me to confirm the following with the team at WordPress

    “Do you have a way to confirm directly with WordPress support if they implemented any new security measures that block SPF email forwarding? So far, this appears to be the core issue, where WordPress servers are blocking the email from Evernote.”

    Hopefully this may spur some form of response.

    so much for support at WordPress …… its non existent

    must be nearly time to change blogging platforms

    Frustrated with lack of any form of response

    Hi there,

    Sorry for the delay! Currently, there are not blocks in place. I just tested this out on my test account and I found that it was working properly as seen here:

    Can you try resetting up Post via Email as seen here:

    Post by Email

    Once you have that post via email address, log in to your Evernote account. Create your post in Evernote and email it to your Post via Email address as seen here:

    Nice to receive a response at last :-)
    So yes reset my secret email address once again. No change, still able to receive emails sent from Evernote to my gmail address but not directly into my wordpress blog via the share send by email function.

    having instead to forward email on from Gmail to WordPress which is as mentioned before does work…. all very strange and definitely frustrating

    so Any thoughts then around potential blocking of SPF emails as mentioned by evernote support team?

    Or are you able to do a test email share send by email from your evernote account to my latest secret wordpress email address to see if its works for you? If so where do i send my secret wordpress email address to?

    or are you able to view my details under the manage your blog area as part of your wordpress support role.
