No longer showing up as tags

I am still new to this, but I was getting some pretty decent traffic and it is dropping off all of a sudden.
Since pretty much the beginning, I was just assigning categories and then I would also show up under those tags (instead of adding tags and categories to my posts, I was just adding categories).
All of a sudden, I am no longer showing up under those tags (for instance, I have about 1-2 weight watchers posts per day….now I don’t see my posts when I check out weight watchers tagged posts)
I did do a search in the forum for possible resolutions, but I still can’t figure out what is going wrong.

replying to add: the easiest example to see the problem is the “Lego Star Wars” post (2nd most recent one). I both tagged it AND placed it in an “Eddie Izzard” category. If you click on the “Eddie Izzard” tag in the post, it takes you to that page, but my post isn’t listed.

I just checked one of your tags and you came up on the list. But alas… the same thing seems to be happening to me. I can’t see any of my tags working, regardless of whether I’m logged in or not. Any chance you guys could check for me?

My tags are still not working. Never had an issue like this before… just can’t understand it. Anybody have any ideas as to why this might be happening? And more important, how to get the tags back online?

Earthpages I’ve just looked through blog and I see some things that might be an issue with wordpress staff and how they prefer their tagging system to be used. It’s only suspect though and I have no way of knowing for sure. You will need to talk to them directly to sort this out, instead of using the forums. I agree you’re not in the tagging system anymore.
Contact them directly on Monday morning when support opens.

My tags and categories are not working either. It just happened today. I wonder if there’s anything wrong with the main server of WordPress.com? My blog is http://www.rippleeffects.wordpress.com My most recent tags should include “Andrew Davis”, “Screenplay”, “Book Into Film”, now, this last one, I’ve many posts being categorized under “Book Into Film”, and none shows up! Help anyone?

artidkc I didn’t see anything disturbing with your tag set up by a quick glance at your blog, so try pinging. WordPress automatically pings our blogs using Pingomatic when we post, though sometimes there is a hiccup. Try Pingoat.com and see if this helps.

I mean when I type in wordpress.com/tag/and then my tag categories and my posts don’t show up. What seems to be the problem?

Artidkc – Try the Ping like I suggested. Then we’ll know if that’s the problem. Staff would probably know more about what your issues could be than us bloggers would, but we’ll try to help you sort it out until they open on Monday.
Go to Pingoat.com and Ping your blog. It could be that you haven’t been pinged.

I’m having the same issue with posts not appearing in the wordpress.com/tags area.
Just adding my voice here to this thread to help consolidate support since this looks to me like it’s a wider issue than just one or two ppl)

Ditto: My tags are no longer showing up, even though they did yesterday afternoon. When I click on a tag, the page indicates that no blog with such a tag exists.
Need assistance immediately.

The Support button is on your dashboard right now, so use that. It’s probably the best way.

I have had the same problem last two blog posts. Once before, I reposted (after deleting the original blog), and that worked, but not this time. I went to pingoat and the pings were successful, so I don’t know. Any thoughts?
