no mailnotifaction for followers

  My followers don’t get the email notifications anymore. Some do, but a lot of them complain that they don’t know anymore when I make a new blogpost.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Did they check their spam folder in their inbox?

  Sometime emails do end up in spam folder for a variety of reasons.

  Thanks chaitanyamsv, Yes they did and the mails wheren’t there either. Strange eh? !

  According to the support docs:

  If you’re not receiving notification emails:
  First check to make sure you are the author of the post.
  Check the Settings → Discussion page to make sure email notifications are activiated
  Check the spam/junk folder in your email program to make sure the messages were not filed there by mistake.

  A couple quick additional troubleshooting options:
  1. Try signing-up yourself for the mail notifications and see if you get it.
  2. Followers can set their own method delivery methods. Have your followers changed their delivery method settings?

  3. Have your followers opted to display the new posts in the reader?

  4. Your followers must be WordPress users.
  5. If you set things to private, notifications are not sent out.
