  There is nowhere on the appearance tab for me to access or edit the menu on the site. It looks like I was put into a beta system, as the word beta is listed next to Editor.

  Hi, the Site Editor is still technically labelled beta but it is part of the regular WordPress software at this time. It is the main appearance editor for themes that are compatible with Full Site Editing; though we do also have ‘classic’ themes available.

  You can edit the menu on your site by accessing the Site Editor and making changes to the Navigation block of your site.
