No more text widgets?

  I want to add more text boxes to my sidebar but there are no more ‘text’ widgets in the available widgets area.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  Can you make a screenshot of what you see under the “Available Widgets” section of your dashboard? You can upload screenshots to your Media Library under Media > Add New in your dashboard, or you can use an online service like Snaggy.

  You should be able to continue adding new text widgets by choosing them from the Available Widgets section, so I just want to make sure I understand what you’re seeing there. :)

  there are 35 widgets for me to choose from most of which this old man has no intention of ever using. When I posted the question for help there was no new ‘text’ widget waiting to be used. Of course today the magic WordPress munchkins sprinkled one into the waiting pile of widgets to use. I am sure people use more of one than some of the others there should be a place where we can go and just refill our waiting widget pile….sorry a little long winded…. but if you were one of the munchkins thank you and if not thank you for taking the time to try and help an old curmudgeon who lives in the woods of Alaska *_*

  Hi there,

  I’m glad our magic WordPress munchkins made a special text widget delivery for you! :) You are certainly welcome to add more than one of any of the widgets there. After adding a widget from the Available Widgets section, you should still see that widget listed there so you can add a second (or third, or fourth, …) one to your blog. If you’re curious, we have more information about widgets here: Widgets

  If there’s a glitch and you don’t see the widget in the list of Available Widgets, you may need to encourage the munchkins by refreshing your browser or clearing your browser’s cache and cookies. If that problem comes back and continues to be an issue for you, please feel free to let me know so I can look into it further. :)

  Thank you Rachel for your time with probably just an old man getting befuddled and not seeing what should be in front of him.

  Good thing the bears don’t know this.
