No New Posts

I’m trying to create a new post at insomnic.wordpress.com and after a “save” it looks okay, but if I go back to edit, my changes are lost. It won’t keep in “published” state either as the post isn’t showing on the front page (though pingbacks are created then link to “not found”). This seem to happen rather regularly where “save” doesn’t actually save.
Can I assume WordPress.com is being flaky and I’ll just have to be patient or is this symptomatic of a larger issue?

Major changes were undertaken on the weekend and some blogs were negatively impacted. I do not know if your blog was among them or if your problem stems from something else. Staff is on the job. They monitor forum threads and will get to your blog as soon as they can. Thanks for posting your details here so they can locate your blog.

I have some similar problems. They are here form last 7-10 days IIRC. I reported the fully explained problem to WordPress Support. Good news is that they are working on it, Bad news is that after 7-10 days problem is still here and no guess on how long will they take :(

I tried a test post and it worked correctly. I deleted the post and retried editing, saving, and publishing the original problem post and it worked correctly this time.
Thanks for whatever was done to correct the issue.
