I dont get any email notifications when my post goes live. i even tried subscribing to my blog, it says subscribed but i cant find my email in the subscriber list and i still dont get a notification too. When Ive tried to add my email manually in wordpress i always get an automated reply below:

hi thanks every much. I’m sorry I dont understand some parts of this. I used to get email notifications when posts go live but this suddenly stopped. To difficult to say when it stopped exactly as i took a long break from blogging but started up in Dec 23, from Dec 23 I dont get the email notifications anymore. I only tried subscribing because I want to know when my posts go live
what do i need to do to get email notifications when my posts go live apart from subscribing? thanks

Upon reviewing our email delivery logs, it appears that you were sent the new post notification for “Hyperpigmentation Evening Routine” when it was published. Could you please check your email for this notification and ensure that it hasn’t been flagged as spam? The email would be from (email visible only to moderators and staff), so you can search your inbox for that address if the notification isn’t immediately visible.
If you can’t locate the email, it might be helpful to contact Outlook support to investigate why our emails aren’t reaching your inbox. Keep us posted on your findings!

I have the same problem, and actually it is two problems.
- I am not receiving notifications of new posts from WP blogs I am subscribed to.
- People who are subscribed to my blog are not getting notifications of my new posts.
Examples: whisperinggums.com posted on Monday night as she always does, and I have had no notification of it. https://whisperinggums.com/2024/02/05/monday-musings-on-australian-literature-secrets-from-the-green-room/
NO notifications of these either:

I can tell that people aren’t getting notifications of my new posts because my email inbox is usually full or chat and commentary, and lately all I’m getting is spam.
And yes, I’ve checked my junk mail folder. And I cleared my cache last week. And I have all the right updates etc.
This is not a problem with my computer, it’s some glitch that’s occurred after some alteration at WP.

@anzlitlovers, upon reviewing your account settings, it appears that you’ve blocked all emails from WordPress.com. Since our subscription emails originate from us, blocking our emails will prevent any subscription emails from being sent as well.
To resolve this issue, please navigate to your subscriptions page (https://wordpress.com/me/notifications/subscriptions) and deselect the “Pause all email updates from sites you’re following on WordPress.com” option. After making this adjustment, remember to save the changes. Please note that this action won’t trigger any notifications that would have been sent while this setting was active. However, moving forward, you should start receiving these notifications again.

Well, that’s nice, and thank you… I have unticked that box and hopefully it will work, but I can tell you *for sure* that *I* never ticked that box to pause all notifications. *Never*.
