No notifications from WordPress.com about my domain name expiration
-
Hello again,
My domain name through WordPress.com, dan-bauman.com, has expired. Prior to expiration on Feb. 19, 2013,
– I was not sent an email within 60 days alerting me that the domain would expire.
– Email were NOT sent to my spam folder (I check the spam folder regularly.)
– Alerts did not appear on the dashboard of my blog.
– An option to pay the redemption fee is not listed on my upgrades page.Such behavior is contradictory to WordPress.com’s own policies, listed here.
http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/domain-expiration/“If you haven’t selected the Auto-renew option, we will notify you of the upcoming expiration several times via email and messages on your blog’s Dashboard.”
Beyond posts about spam filters, I have received no further help from the support team to my first message. I still need help. I’d like to stay with WordPress.com and pay for the service you guys provide. However, this customer service has me rethinking that option.
Could someone please help me out? I would really appreciate it.
Dan Bauman

Thank you to you and your staff for help. My apologies for the harsh tone of my message. I hadn’t received an alert from the previous conversation about the answers. The blog is up and running now. Again, my apologies. Have a good day.
