is there any way to view the total no. of persons saw the post, not only for a day but from the day of post till today, it should be seen either just below the post or the header of the post.

When you look at the stats for your blog, there is a little ‘chart’ icon beside a post that recently viewed. That is a link to the total stats on that particular post.

that i too know, but instead of clicking the chart icon, i want the no. of persons viewed the post should be displayed beside that post

our blog stats are on hit basis rather than unique visitors. for that i think using an outside statcounter is possible.

That that would be theme specific. The theme would have to be coded to display the information.
