No option for updating Blavitar in dashboard

  I’ve been trying to find a way to choose a custom image that will post to my Facebook page when I link to my WP site. Right now it’s just the white silhouette.

  I’ve read the support docs and they say to navigate to Settings > General and on that page there is supposed to be a section for uploading an image… there is not for me.

  Any ideas?

  We provide support here only for WordPress.COM hosted blogs. I’m sorry but we cannot provide accurate answers to any blogger who fails to provide the exact URL starting with http:// for the exact blog they refer to so we can verify where it is hosted. Please do that now.

  Ah that explains it. That site is not hosted by WordPress.COM and our support docs here do not apply to it.

  WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support forums. http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there.
