No option to fix suspended domain
-
We moved our domain to wordpress a while ago, and it was recently suspended by wordpress. When I try to access it, I see a message of
This domain has been suspended due to non-completion of an ICANN-mandated contact verification.
So I logged in to wordpress to try to address this issue. Toward the top of the wordpress site I see a button for “fix”, but when I click on it I don’t see anything that I can fix – or indeed anything marked that needs to be fixed. In the first page of the wordpress site, under “Site setup”, the box for “Confirm your email address” is checked, which suggests to me that everything is OK – yet I our page still does not load.
Can someone help me figure out what I need to do in order to bring our site back online? The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there:
It looks like you were helped with this via live chat with WordPress.com Support.
To clarify the issue for anyone else coming across this topic, when your domain is suspended, it means that the registry suspended your domain name because you failed to verify your email address or the contact details have been modified for the domain and still require verification. This applies to all gTLDs (Generic Top Level Domains) such as .com, .net, .org, .info, etc.
This verification is done annually to ensure your contact information is up-to-date.
There is a 15-day window during which you must verify your domain contact details. If you miss the 15 days and fail to complete the verification process, your domain name will be suspended. This is controlled by ICANN (Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers) and you can read more about this process here:
https://www.icann.org/resources/pages/registrar-suspension-2017-06-20-en
I hope that clarifies things!
