No paragraph breaks no matter what I try or force

  Why are paragraph breaks not appearing in my finished post? I’ve read through the forums for two hours now.

  I’ve tried manually typing in Visual and properly using the enter key by holding the SHIFT key down and simultaneously clicking ENTER at the end of the paragraph. Didn’t work.

  I’ve gone into Text Editor and used a single click of ENTER to give me a single-spaced line, and two clicks of ENTER will result in double spaced lines. Didn’t work.

  I’ve highlighted everything in the Visual editor, selected Paragraph from the Format tool, switched editor to Text then switched back to Visual and clicked Update. Didn’t work.

  I’ve tried to force the Editor to keep those spaces, by adding the code
   
  It didn’t work. What am I doing wrong?

  Someone please help. Thank you, in advance, for any suggestions.

  I got frustrated and changed the theme. Then everything worked.

  Nothing worked in the Ascetica theme.

  That will help you create hard line breaks.
