No password reset email, ever!

I have been with WP for several years. Throughout these years I have had some problems, times when for some reason I am logged out of my blog. I have tried countless times to reset password, but WP has NEVER, EVER, sent me such email.
No, I have checked in the spam and other folders, and nothing. NEVER.
In other blogs I always had my brother as co-administrator and he always has been able to give me a new password. But in a new blog I am alone.
It’s been hours since I was logged out, don’t know why, and WP does not answer.I have always recommended WP as the best platform for blogs and other pages, but I am getting tired of this. I have lost many days of work because of this issue. I do not understand how such a large organization cannot answer one single email.
Unbelievable.

Your site is not hosted here, on WordPress.com, but using the open source WordPress.org software at another hosting provider.For general help with the version of WordPress you’re using, you can ask the WordPress.org community over at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/

Sorry to hear that you are having trouble. But as galois has pointed out, WordPress.com does not send out those password reset emails for site using the open-source WordPress software.
As mentioned above, the best place for help is the WordPress.org forums or, depending on the level of support your hosting plan offers, your web host’s support team.
