  no picture appears when my post is shared on facebook, instead the wordpress logo appears

  That is strange! Could you please send a screenshot of your post on Facebook? You can upload the screenshot to your Media Library and then paste the link here.

  Also, could you let me know which post(s) are not going over to Facebook correctly, or is it all of them?

  hi, I could not figure out how to do a screenshot ! when i press the key on the key board nothing happens.
  I am joining a link to my facebook page. When you scroll down you will see wordpress link. Some have pictures and some have the wordpress logo. Let me know why is that so. thank-you

  Facebook will cache information, meaning that it will go and grab sites and store all the information it can about it so that it doesn’t have to grab it again the next time someone decides to share the site.

  So if you share a link once and it doesn’t have an image embedded on it yet, then it will show the WordPress logo. Then even if you add the image later, Facebook will still show only the WordPress logo.

  There are two ways around this. The first is to make sure you’ve uploaded the images that you want to share before you paste your post on to Facebook. The second is that you can try using Facebook’s “Debugger” tool to try and clear their cache. You can find it here:

  Once you paste your link in there, you can re-share it and it should pull the correct image.

  hi amightywp,
  The problem of picture not being shared on facebook when I publish a post is still happening. Please Help !
  I make sure that the pictures loaded on the post before I share, but it doesn’t help.

  I also tried the debug link but it was of no help.
  So times when I publish I loads the picture, sometimes it doesn’t. Why ?

  Thanks for letting me know this is still an issue. I’ve been working with some of my colleagues and it looks like this is part of a larger problem which we’re having with Facebook.

  We’re working on it and as soon as I have some information for you, I will let you know!

  We made several updates to resolve this issue. If you still encounter issues with newly published posts shared on Facebook, let us know including the link of the post you shared.

  Note that you can also use the Facebook Debugger to update FB’s cache so it uses the correct image and description of your site: https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/‎
