no ping to my blog

  Hello,

  I am currently living in Vietnam. I know that my blog works correctly all over the world except Vietnam.

  The problem is not with cookies or firewall, I am web-programmer by trade and I know it for sure. Ping from my current place you can see below.
  so ping wordpress.com works correctly but ping my blog doesn’t work. Therefore, due to fact that I really want to write posts and also I have bought premium account, I ask you to change my blog server storage from server to 76.74.254.126 or anyone else that can be reached from Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam). If it is not possible can you please send me an dump of my posts in the most appropriate form for you.

  Hi,

  Some countries has been known to block WordPress.com blogs, and there is nothing that we can do about this. As a workaround, you can try using a VPN or proxy to access the blog. The following links provide some options that you may be able to explore and/or use:
  https://www.intl-alliance.com/store/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=1_119
  https://www.torproject.org/ (another user from Vietnam reported that this worked for him yesterday)

  We have also heard that some users have had luck simply by using Opera Turbo:
  http://www.opera.com/browser/turbo/

  With WordPress.com itself being accessible, it is likely only a matter of time before that is blocked too. All of our sites—yours and WordPress.com—are hosted by the same set of datacenters. My thought is Vietnam officials have blocked some, but not all, of our datacenters so far.

  Additionally, I’ll send you an e-mail with the export of your blog in the WordPress WXR format, that can be imported into any WordPress-based blog, as well as a number of other platforms.
