No pingbacks

  It is my eighth day not being able to pingback to the daily prompt site. My readership has descreased to 1/3 and the comments were immediately closed on the forum with no updates given since. Help, please! Discouraging to post every day and have so few readers. Judy

  I’m having the same problem. I wish WP could at least periodically let us know that they are still working on it. This is very frustrating.

  Thanks for responding. I was afraid I was the only one and I feel exactly as you do. It is disappointing to work so hard on the posts and have no one know they are there. I’ll look at yours if you’ll look at mine! Ha. Judy

  I’m having the same problem. I have requested help more than once. Nothing seems to be happening. I wonder whether somebody is really looking into this problem. Why is it taking so long and WP is not posting any progress updates? :(

  Do you know of anyone else who is having this problem, Mr. Bean? Perhaps we could band together and approach them…or at least form some sort of link with each other where we could share what viewers we have. Judy

  You are referring to pingbacks not displaying on The Daily Post memes for Daily Prompts. This failure to display pingbacks issue is known to Staff. Read this please https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/daily-post-pingbacks?replies=1 and watch for Staff updates there.

  Thank you, timethief, for directing us to that forum post. Yes, I see that it says they are aware of the problem. Yes, I see that they say they will keep us updated. However, there has been nothing new posted there in over a week. Keeping people updated might include saying something to the effect of, “We’re still working on this issue and haven’t forgotten you.”

  Hi grieflessons, I believe Flowers and Breezes (https://flowersandbreezes.wordpress.com/) and Vintage 1956 (https://emo1956.wordpress.com/) also have the same problems.
