No place to reply

My posts have no reply option. I’ve read the knowledge base articles and all the settings are correct. I don’t understand what is going on.

my issue is different now. I don’t want whole articles displaying on the home page. When they do, there is no comment option unless someone clicks on the title to read the same post they are already reading. What a terrible design! Is there a way to display post titles and summaries across the board?
