no plugin

  For some reason, I do not see a “plugins” option from my side menu.
  My squarespace just crashed so looking into other options…I bought 2 plugins for wordpress but I don’t see the “plugins” tab to install…

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  For some reason, I do not see a “plugins” option from my side menu.

  Installing outside plugins is not supported by WordPress.com, but many of the features plugins add to your site are already built into WordPress.com.

  If you let me know more about the plugins in question, we can talk about how to achieve the same goals on WordPress.com.

  Just for your information, third-party plugins are designed to work with self-hosted WordPress sites. You can learn more about the difference between WordPress.com and self-hosted WordPress here:

  If this means I self-host the site, that’s fine too…I’m kinda stuck. I don’t know my next step. I’ve put it bid out on elance to have someone implement it. I’m also currently using squarespace, but it crashed so I’m pursuing other options…
  any idea on how to get a video background?

  Based on the link to the plugin though, it sounds like you are looking for more than that.

  In that case, I think self-hosted WordPress is your best bet.
